Extended Practice — Moving with the breath for presence and connection
By Marcia Donadel
This Exploration is inspired by the Lessac body and voice practice and guided by the breath as semi-conscious movement. It is a great way to start the day, to really give attention to your body and breath. Breath triggers a relaxing-energizer chain mechanism, and stimulates a feeling of connection. It results in an increased sense of presence, making it a great source for self-knowledge. This Exploration can also provide a tool to reduce anxiety. Its effects of increased connection and presence may last for half an hour and up to a few hours. Once this bodily sensation becomes more familiar, we can engage in other activities simultaneously.
